As all iconic CK campaigns, the newest campaign for Calvin Klein Jeans – the heavy-weight subsidiary of the Calvin Klein empire – features more than just good underwear and tight jeans. To be specific, it features two iconic faces in the making, both by the name of Gerber. The siblings Kaia and Presley, age 16 and 18 respectively, are the off-spring of the exceptionally genetically gifted Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford, both models, and the latter of which is widely recognized as one of the biggest supermodels of all times. You might say that it was in the cards that the new generation of Gerber/Crawfords would pursue a career in modelling, but even so, the trajectories of their kids are impressive. Debuting this New York Fashion Week at Raf Simons’ re-booted Calvin Klein, Kaia graced the runways of Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, Prada, Chanel, and Fendi. Here, she is seen teaming up with her older brother, and in the process re-viving the super spirit that had surrounded the American heritage brand since its hey-days in the 1980s and 1990s.
